Kevin Chin, Many Levels 2025, Oil on Linen

The collection started in the early 2000s, assembled by the founder of an executive search firm and his husband, a senior executive in the Higher Education sector. Drawn to early-career artists, they collected in the same spirit that defined their professional lives, supporting people at formative stages, backing potential, investing in trajectory.

As their careers expanded, so did the collection, until the art quite literally outgrew the office.

The turning point came with the acquisition of Many Levels by Melbourne based artist Kevin Chin. The work carried a quiet but powerful insight: the structures we take for granted, hierarchy, order, perspective can be inverted. Reframed. Reimagined.

In a post-COVID world, as hybrid work reshaped the need for traditional office space, the former layout of desks and corridors gave way to something different. The cubicles disappeared. The walls remained. The art moved forward.

Now, the space leads with art, and allows work to enter when required.
